CompressorΒΆ
Compressor is a feedback compressor with individual detection circuits per channel. It can be used to reduce the dynamic range of a signal, to constrain occasional peaks in a signal or to accentuate to transients.

threshold sets the loudness threshold above which gain reduction is applied.
attack sets how long it takes for the compression to start reducing gain.
release sets how long gain reduction stays effective.
output level to compensate for the overall volume that is lost while compression is applied. This parameter is not morphable.
ratio sets the amount of gain reduction per decibel of signal above the threshold.
Hint
A ratio of 4:1 means that a signal of 4 dB above the threshold will be reduced to 1 dB above the threshold. Higher ratio values will apply more compression and less transparently.
